Properties:  Be light yellow crystal. no odor. Soluble in benzene, acetone, CH2Cl2, CS2 , toluene, chloroform, slightly soluble in alcohol and diethyl ether, insoluble in gasoline and water.

Uses:  Super accelerator and vulcanizing agent for NR.IR.BR.SBR.NBR and EPDM. Generates low level of relatively non-toxic nitrosamine, effective in latex as well as dry rubber. Curing ability is good but the strength is poor. Cure acitivity is good in the absence of sulphur.

Properties:  Density :1.31~1.34g/cm3 ,Soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, a little soluble in alcohol, insoluble in water.

Applications:  Suitable for natural and synthetic rubber and latex, being a good secondary accelerator of kinds of thiazole, it is used with other accelerators to the continuous vulcanization. TMTD is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR177.2600, 175.105 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and “Sonderkategorie”.

Properties: Relative density: 1.42-1.52g/cm3,Insoluble in water and gasoline, slight soluble in benzene, easy to soluble in ethyl acetate and acetone, soluble in dichloromethane, ethyl ether and chloroform and in the solution of alkali carbonate.

Applications: A universal rubber accelerator, mainly is used in tyres, rubber shoes and other rubber articles. It is not used in rubber bags for food because of its bitterness. MBT is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR177.2600, 175.105, 176.300 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and “Sonderkategorie”.

Properties: Light yellow powder or granule.

Uses: Developed to replace thiurams such as TMTD. The dibenzylnitrosamine is not carcinogenic according to published literature. Be a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator in NR, SBR and NBR applications. Be safer to process, provide longer scorching times than TMTD. Sometimes used as retarder in the vulcanization of polychloroprene rubber.
