What is Rubber Antioxidant?

Soluble in gasline, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride ,methylbenzene, ethylalcohol and other organic solvents, insoluble in water.

Function of Rubber Antioxidant

Mainly used in coloring of shoes cream, floor wax, plastic, resin, printing ink and in color separation of oil products, also used in making fireworks and transparent paint.

Application of Rubber Antioxidant

It is widely used to manufacture tyres, rubber tuber, belts, shoes, fiber,  hoses automotive mounts, normal industrial rubber products, also latex products. It is known as a stabilizer which used to polyisopentadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, butadiene styrene rubber.

Products Description:
(1) Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT is a general-purpose anti-aging agent for natural rubber, diene synthetic rubber, neoprene rubber and base latex.
(2) Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT has good protection against heat, oxygen, flexing and general aging, and is slightly better than anti-aging agent A. Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT has an inhibitory effect on harmful metals, but it is weaker than the anti-aging agent.
(3) When used in combination with antioxidant 4010 or 4010NA, resistance to heat, oxygen, flex cracking, and ozone resistance are significantly improved.
(4) Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT has no effect on the vulcanization rate of natural rubber, nitrile rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber, and has a slight retardation effect on neoprene.
(5) Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT is easy to decompose in dry glue and is also easy to disperse in water. The solubility of Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT in rubber is about 1.5%, and no more than 1 part will not bloom.
(6) Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT is polluting and fades to grayish black in daylight, so it is not suitable for white or light colored products. Mainly used in the manufacture of industrial products such as tires, hoses, tapes, rubber rollers, rubber shoes, wire and cable insulation.
(7) The anti-aging agent can also be used as a stabilizer for post-treatment and storage of various synthetic rubbers, and can be used as a heat-resistant anti-aging agent for polyoxymethylene. Antioxidant D (PBN)/ DMT has a certain irritating effect on the skin.

Properties: A high activity antioxidant for matural and synthetic rubber provides powerful antiozonant and antioxidant properties with excellent high temperature, fatigue and flex resistance to rubber compounds. While used primarily for ozone resistance, it is a more active antioxidant than quinoline or diphenylamine based antioxidants. The product (alone or in combination with TMQ) provides compound protection against catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals. The product has no negative effects on compound adhesion to textiles or steel cord up to levels of 2 phr. Above this concentration it may bloom and interfere with ply to ply and ply to cord adhesion. It will discolor compounds and cause severe contact and migration staining.
